Membership Cancellations

  • Membership cancellations require a minimum of 30-days’ written notice.
  • Memberships will be cancelled at the end of the 30-day notice period
  • A $25 administrative fee for early cancellation is payable at the time of cancellation
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed through the original method of payment.
  • No refunds or adjustments will be issued for membership hold or freeze periods
  • Monthly payment plans (if applicable) will be cancelled by the end of the 30-day notice period and no portion of the final monthly payment will be refunded
  • Annual memberships billed monthly that are used to access swimming lesson discounts or early registration must remain active for the full duration of the lesson session.
  • If the membership is cancelled before the completion of the lesson session, the following will apply:
  • A $25 administrative fee will be charged
  • The member will be charged the difference between the discounted lesson rate and the full lesson price
  • Any remaining membership fees for the duration of the lesson session may still be charged

Example: A membership purchased in October for lessons running until December must remain active until the lessons are complete.

  • Where a pattern of repeated early membership cancellations used to access member benefits is identified, the LCLC reserves the right to revoke these privileges.
    In such cases, the patron may be charged the equivalent of a full annual membership and restricted from accessing discounted or early registration benefits in future sessions.
