Margaret Hennigar Public Library
The Margaret Hennigar Public Library (MHPL) is the Bridgewater branch of South Shore Public Libraries, serving communities across Lunenburg and Queens counties. Conveniently located within the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC), the library offers a welcoming space for reading, learning, and community connection.

Located inside the LCLC, Fancy Pants Express offers a wide variety of drinks, smoothies, pressed sandwiches, soups, and more! Featuring many organic and local ingredients, it’s a convenient spot to grab a quick bite or drink during your visit.

The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre is committed to creating and maintaining respect for human rights and fostering equality and inclusion.
We will diligently work to ensure an environment free of discrimination, racism and harassment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity allowing everyone to participate fully and have equal opportunities.
Acts of harassment, racism, and discrimination will not be tolerated, condoned, or ignored at the LCLC. In these instances, whether observed or reported, will be investigated and consequences will be issued.
Unacceptable Behaviour shall include, but not be limited to:
- Physical violence or threats of physical violence
- Use of discriminatory, racist, vulgar, or threatening language
- or gestures in any manner to anyone at any time
- Taunting of users, members, players, coaches, officials or
- other spectators by means of baiting, ridiculing, or the use of
- abusive or demeaning language
- Suggestive comments, exploitation, intimidation in language
- and in action
- Willfully damaging LCLC property and/or equipment
- Any other behaviour which a Lunenburg County Lifestyle
- Centre employee finds to be inappropriate, disruptive or
- abusive in the circumstances.
