Margaret Hennigar Public Library

The Margaret Hennigar Public Library (MHPL) is the Bridgewater branch of South Shore Public Libraries, serving communities across Lunenburg and Queens counties. Conveniently located within the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC), the library offers a welcoming space for reading, learning, and community connection.

  • MHPL provides access to a wide range of resources, programs, and services for all ages, making it an important community hub within the LCLC.
  • A book drop is available outside the main entrance of the LCLC for returning library materials.
  • The Margaret Hennigar Public Library is fully accessible, with wheelchair access available via both the main and rear entrances of the LCLC.
